Cooking parties
PLEASE NOTE: Cooking parties accomodate a maximum of 6 children and 1 guardian. 
 
Fancy a birthday party with a difference? then come to The Cooking Shed!
We have many different main and dessert dishes on offer from all over the world, but here’s an example of what a standard party format would look like...
  • Arrive, wash hands & pop on aprons ready to cook
  • Make main course
  • Make dessert
  • Enjoy eating what they've made together in The Cooking Shed (there'll be some for the guardian to enjoy too!)

Here are just some of the dishes that children can choose from to make in the session... 
Main course: 
Italian meatballs and spaghetti
Homemade pizza with various toppings
Homemade burgers with potato wedges
Italian vegetable pasta bake and focaccia bread
Homemade chapati wraps with chicken marinated in Indian spices
Moroccan lamb meatballs with pomegranate cous cous 
Lebanese lamb patties with homemade flatbreads 
Greek lamb kofta & flatbreads 
 
Dessert: 
Berry crumble 
Cupcake decorating 
Chocolate dipped strawberries or mini bananas
Banoffee pie 
Rocky road
 
The cost covers 6 children and 1 guardian at The Cooking Shed for 2 hours, drinks (fruit juice, squash & tea & coffee for adult in attendance), class tutor, and all ingredients. 
Please note: If you require larger numbers, please get in touch so that we can check availability, and provide you with an associated cost. 
 
All tutors are emergency first aid certified, hold an enhanced DBS, and are fully insured.

  • We ask that a parent or guardian is in attendance for the duration of the class to assist with children if they require toilet breaks, to help assist the children throughout the class if they need additional help with cutting/prep'ing duties provided by the tutor, and to ensure safe delivery of them back to parents at the end of the party. 
    You are welcome to bring along your own birthday cake and party bags (although the packaged biscuits tend to count towards this!), or we are happy to provide at an additional cost. 

    PLEASE CONTACT US BEFORE BOOKING to ensure that we have time and date available that you would like to book. The price quoted is for a maximum of 6 children, aged 6yrs and over. If you have fewer than 6 children in attendence, we're afraid that the price still remains the same. 

    If you'd like the children to cook something different to pizza, then please contact us and we will be happy to discuss options.
